✨ Sutherland Dance Festival 2026 ✨

We are incredibly proud of the 36 students who represented Menai High School at the Sutherland Dance Festival last week.

Our Junior Ensemble – Gravity, Intermediate Ensemble – Take a Breath, and Sport Dance – Turning Tables performed with integrity, commitment, and enthusiasm, showcasing the results of their hard work, dedication, and passion for dance.

Congratulations to all of our performers on this fantastic achievement.

On Friday, our school community came together for a special Year 12 Table Tennis Tournament held in memory of Lachlan.

A huge thank you to all the staff and students who helped make the event such a success. From setting up and running the tournament to packing up afterwards, the support and teamwork shown by everyone involved was outstanding.

A special acknowledgment goes to our Year 12 Advisers, Zoe and Nathan, whose dedication and organisation ensured the event ran smoothly from start to finish.

We were also honoured to welcome Mr and Mrs Leung. They were deeply touched by the kindness and effort shown by our school community. It meant so much to them to see students and staff sharing memories of Lachlan and taking the opportunity to reconnect throughout the afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day such a meaningful and memorable occasion.

Last Friday, we were proud to host the NSW Department of Education Principals Roadshow.

The Roadshow brings together public school principals and educational leaders from across the region to discuss local challenges, share successes, and collaborate on shaping the future of public education in NSW.

It was a valuable opportunity to showcase our school, connect with colleagues, and contribute to important conversations about teaching, learning, and student success. Thank you to all who attended and helped make the event a success.
