We might’ve grown a lot over the years- but we still have the same goals and tight knit team.

We’re grateful we get to support our wonderful communities! Thank you to our wonderful families, shires and towns for working with us to deliver high quality early childhood education and care to every child, no matter their location 🌱

REED Hyden is growing- and so is our team 🌱

With enrolments increasing, we’re excited to expand our educator team and continue building something meaningful for local children and families.

There have been some updates to the National Quality Standards. Here are the highlights!

Notification Timeframes: The deadline for notifying the regulatory authority about incidents or allegations of physical or sexual abuse has been shortened from 7 days to 24 hours.
Va**ng Ban: All ECEC environments must now be completely free from va**ng substances and devices, building on existing bans for to***co, alcohol, and illicit drugs.
Digital Safety Policies: Services need clear policies and procedures for the safe use of digital technologies, covering image capture, device use, and online environments.
Element 2.2.3: This will now focus on Child Safety and Protection, stressing staff roles in identifying and responding to abuse or neglect.
Governance and Leadership: Quality Area 7 will explicitly incorporate child safety into systems, policies, and continuous improvement.
