August was a fun and busy month. We explored dinosaurs, did a lot of experiments during Science Week and explored some of our favourite books during Book Week.

It’s National Wattle Day and they are blooming everywhere so let’s get creative!

July saw us finishing off exploring the subject of insects. We started NAIDOC week with an exploration of country and the natural environment. The children’s interest of princesses and the movie Frozen, has meant we had a closer look at the Seasons, focusing on winter.

June was a lot of fun with both World Environment Day and Ocean Day. We watched, played and experienced our own Soccer World Cup and finished off with exploring Insects.

Our friendly elderly neighbour let us pick oranges from his tree. We cut them up and all had a bit. The children loved the experience so much that we went back a couple of times. We decided to make him a picture to say thank you. Love the community we live in ❤️🙏

We had a busy May, exploring the alphabet and the letters in our name. We made gifts for Mothers Day and continued our exploration of our families and the community that we live in. There was a lot of play in the muddy yard, making cupcakes and wombat stews. We finished off a fun month with Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week.
