McDuff English College is searching for an experienced and knowledgeable Advanced English teacher to join our team in Hurstville. This role involves face-to-face tutoring for Years 7-12 and requires availability on Sundays.

We are thrilled to share that the Canberra Reading Clinic will soon be offering its Reading Intervention Program at our college here in Hurstville.

Individuals with limited reading abilities often experience feelings of shame and embarrassment, which can undermine their confidence and limit their opportunities to excel academically, professionally, and socially.

This six-month intensive program incorporates proven methodologies to build strong foundational skills in decoding and spelling. It is specifically tailored to support children and adults facing challenges such as dyslexia, ADHD, or global learning delays.

The program operates twice weekly and is designed to:

✅Develop confidence in decoding individual words by breaking them into manageable chunks.
✅Teach strategies for recognising patterns in language.
