Today our students welcomed the NRMA Road Safety team for an engaging and interactive incursion! ๐Ÿšฆ๐Ÿšธ

Through fun activities and hands-on learning, students explored important road safety skills, including how to stay safe as pedestrians, passengers and cyclists. It was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, awareness and lifelong safety habits.

Today marked the launch of the Stage Two Advanced Learning program, Here at School, for gifted Year 3 and 4 students. Over the next 18 weeks, students will create a podcast that explores current events within the school community and features interviews with staff and fellow students about their interests beyond the classroom.

The inaugural session saw students testing microphones, learning the basics of GarageBand, and developing their interviewing skills through practical discussions and activities. - Mr David Wong, Year 4 Teacher

Celebrating NAIDOC Week! ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›โค๏ธ

Yesterday, our students enjoyed a special Indigenous Australian incursion, exploring the rich culture and traditions of First Nations peoples. Through hands-on learning, they discovered traditional weapons, tools, language, music, and storytelling, gaining a deeper appreciation for Australiaโ€™s rich Indigenous heritage. What a fantastic way to celebrate and learn during NAIDOC Week! โœจ

โš™๏ธ Year 4 STEM Fun! ๐Ÿฅš๐Ÿ’ก

Year 4 had a blast with Angela from Creative Playground! Students explored how gears work, built their own manual egg beaters, then took on the challenge of improving the design. To top it off, they added a motor and used iPads to code their creations into action!
