Adventure, discovery and powerful storytelling were at the heart of this year’s History Week! Year 8 students stepped back in time during Medieval Day, immersing themselves in the lives of knights, nobles and peasants through hands-on crafts and games. Ancient History students explored the Chau Chak Wing Museum, while Modern History students had the privilege of hearing from a Holocaust survivor. It was an inspiring and memorable week that brought history to life!

Our OGA August Fest was a special afternoon celebrating community and connection. Alumnae enjoyed hearing from Danebank Principal Dr Benn, touring the school and sharing delicious refreshments. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends and peers, reminisce with former Principals Mrs Davis and Miss Bird, and celebrate alongside past and present teachers.
We were delighted to welcome alumnae spanning generations, including a very special guest who was taught at Danebank by our founding Headmistress, Miss Roseby Ball. This annual event is a meaningful reminder of the rich legacy that unites generations of Danebank women.

Some teachers were simply born to teach. They’re the kind you’ll find at Danebank. Their passion for their role ignites a spark within our students and sets them up to love learning. Come and talk to us about Year 3 at the Junior School Information Session, Tuesday 28 July: https://bit.ly/3Q4O6It
