ArtsBridge Junior is coming up, with entries open to Kinder, primary and secondary students. All art mediums are welcome, so get creative! 💚💛

Entries close Wednesday 26 August.

ArtsBridge Junior is fast approaching, so this is a quick reminder for all young artists! Kinder, primary and secondary students can enter, with prizes in every age category supported by Bendigo Bank.

It’s a wonderful way to celebrate young creatives and highlight the importance of the arts in our community.

The kids have been busy having a look and putting together their wish lists today. Come along to Room 5 from 8:20–8:40am or 3:20–3:40pm to have a browse and grab a few new books! 📖

Our 1/2s have been working hard on multiplication! ✖️

Today we used fish and some crazy eyes to help represent our multiplication sums. 🐟👀

This week in Science, the grade 5/6 students learnt about conductors and insulators of electricity and how they can use this knowledge when creating and testing electrical circuits.

First they predicted which objects they thought would be conductors or insulators of electricity. They then built a simple circuit to test whether different objects were conductors or insulators. Students recorded and summarised their findings based on the results of their investigations.

Through these hands-on investigations, students developed their understanding of how electricity flows and how different materials can affect an electrical circuit. 🧬 ⚡️

🚲 Bike Ed kicked off today for our 3/4 students! Luckily, the rain cleared just long enough for a great lesson out on the courts. The students had a great time practising their riding skills and learning about bike safety. 😊
