Hello - Mum and i finally found the old Hurstbridge p.s 3939 on Sunday that is now the Scout Hall. Mum who is now 92 remembers being there when she was a child with her sisters. Mum said it was 1933! and i did see the 1933 photo - do you have any other photos around the time. Mums family like most were very poor - they walked 5 miles every day to attend and on some occasions on the way home, would buy broken biscuits from the general store of the day that was down the road.

Come along, open to everyone in the area, support a good cause!

We love our local supportive community!

Chloe is very tired now, its been a busy morning. Thanks to our local businesses for supporting this wonderful project at school.

Chloe started her day with a grooming at For the Love of Dogs https://www.facebook.com/4-the-Love-of-Dogs-279242318818488

She then worked with Heidi from Impawtant Training https://www.facebook.com/Impawtant-Training-254710208519674

And after this had a health check at Greencross Vets https://www.facebook.com/Greencross-Vets-Hurstbridge-2388844521440021

We are very lucky to have such a supportive local community here in Hurstbridge!

Great news for Hurstbridge Primary School with the announcement that they will receive $316,165 from the Andrews Labor Government's Minor Capital Works Fund.

Principal Chris and school captains Jake and Georgia told me that funding would upgrade classrooms into a community hub, including four kitchenettes to be used as part of the school's Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program.

I'm looking forward to visiting when it's completed and tasting what students create with their new garden to plate program.
