With the days getting longer and the weather warming up, our students are making the most of the beautiful spring conditions as they prepare for the Merino Challenge later next month.

There is plenty of hard work, learning and preparation happening as the countdown begins. We can’t wait to see our students (and sheep) put their skills into action! 💪🐑

👏 We are excited to announce a new partnership with Early Support for Parents.

Each term our Hospitality Students will prepare a meal for local families to enjoy. This term first on the menu is two traditional favourites Beef Lasagne and Apple Crumble 😋

Eating with Friends is on Thursday 20 August at Huonville Bowls & Community Club Inc. Still only $10 for a 3 course meal prepared and served by students from Huon Valley Trade Training Centre. We're taking names now, get in quick to reserve your seat.

🐄🌱 Update from our Agriculture students at Freer Farm! 🌱🐄

Our Ag students are making the most of their time at Freer Farm, getting hands-on experience and learning what life on the farm is really all about.

From enjoying the excitement of calving 🐮 to learning about on-farm practices, our students are getting stuck in, stepping outside their comfort zones and, most importantly, having a go! 💪

It’s fantastic to see them building their skills, confidence and knowledge through real-world experiences. 🌾

A big thank you to our staff Geoff and Judi as well as the team at TasTAFE Burnie for providing our students with this valuable opportunity!
