Last week, Year 11 students travelled to the Great Aussie Bush Camp in Kincumber. Overcoming fears and attempting new skills were the focus while coming together as a year group ahead of the tough years of being seniors.
We're so proud of how they conducted themselves throughout the week, particularly in spite of the suboptimal weather.
You can’t sail under the harbour bridge without Reslience, Independence and Leadership. This is the exact focus of the Ready, Set, Sail! program.
Great work by all.

✨ Throwback to 1971!
We just uncovered a debating report from our school archives "Moocooboola 1971". It’s incredible to see the passion, wit, and eloquence of our students over 50 years ago. These young debaters showcased outstanding skills, critical thinking, and a real zest for important issues—qualities that continue to inspire our students today.
Let’s celebrate the rich history of our school’s debating tradition and the timeless power of words. Who else remembers the debates from back in the day? Share your stories and memories with us!

Our Year 9 students had an incredible experience attending Youth Week, organised by Hunters Hill Council. They had the privilege of meeting Winter Olympian Nick Timmings (Skeleton), who shared his inspiring journey as an athlete.
Nick spoke openly about both his successes and setbacks, reminding our students of the power of perseverance and resilience. His story truly left a lasting impression on everyone.
We are very grateful to Hunters Hill Council for organising such a meaningful opportunity. To make the experience even more special, Nick gifted our Year 9s an autographed copy of his planner, along with a beautiful message: “DREAM BIG!”

Congratulations to the Open Girls Touch Football Team who have progressed through to the Quarter Finals in the Sydney North Knockout Competition.
They played an extremely tough game against The Forrest High. With the scores locked in at 3-3 at full time, the girls played in extra time and were down to 4 v 4. Lexi H. scored a cracking try to win the game which was well assisted by Iilah L, Niamh C. and Georgina P.
