We’re a little bit late but we think it’s fair to say that our Community Family BBQ was a big success! Look at all of these smiles on beautifully painted faces. Congratulations to all of our raffle winners and a big thank you to those families who came, those who organised the event, those who baked delicious cupcakes & those who cooked up a storm on the BBQ. Days like this wouldn’t be possible without our amazing community partners… thank you SO much to .wine ✨

Next week is National Families Week. This year the theme is ‘Celebrating Every Family, Everywhere’ which aims to celebrate the crucial role of families in nurturing children and to strengthen bonds. To celebrate, we are holding a ‘Family Fun Morning’ for our 3 and 4 yr old families this Saturday! Don’t forget to come on down and join in the fun 🥳 we can’t wait to see you there.

Our external renovations are complete and we are beyond excited to welcome everyone back to Hughesdale Kinder tomorrow! How good does she looks?!! 🥰 Term 2 is kicking off with a bang! 🥳

Wishing our kinder community a very Hoppy Easter. We had an eggcellent day celebrating at the park today. A big shout out to the fundraising team for organising a great social event filled with lots of fun, Easter egg hunts and egg and spoon races. 🐰🐣

This week, we say goodbye to Kerry - a truly exceptional teacher, leader and friend.

“To the world you may be just a teacher, but to your students, you are a hero.”

For over 20 years, Kerry has poured her heart into teaching, creating a calm, joyful and safe space where children feel seen, supported and inspired to love learning. Her warmth, patience and incredible intuition have shaped countless little lives, giving them confidence, resilience and the very best start to their learning journey.

Watching Kerry teach has always felt like a masterclass - every interaction thoughtful, every lesson intentional, and every child genuinely understood. Families have trusted her wholeheartedly, knowing that with Kerry, their child was always in the safest, most capable hands.

Kerry is not only an exceptional educator, but a true leader - deeply respected, endlessly supportive and protective of her team. Her presence has shaped our kinder culture and strengthened our community in ways that will be felt long after her time here.

As Kerry begins her next chapter, we wish her every happiness and fulfilment in her new home and community - who will undoubtedly be all the richer for her presence.
