This week, we are celebrating our wonderful support staff and recognising the incredible work they do for our school.

On behalf of HSS staff, students and parent community we would like to say a big thank you to our office staff, teacher aides, cleaners, our guidance officer, school psychologist, speech and language pathologist, school-based youth health nurse and school chaplain.

Without these amazing people working hard every day in these roles, the school would not be able to run.

Thank you for your care, patience, hard work and kindness. We want you to know that you are appreciated not just today or this week, but every day.

Thank you to the Dolly's Dream team who visited us and took our students through various workshops around kindness with the focus on being kind and having empathy for the primary students and self worth for secondary students. Our Prep-2 students had to decide if actions where ‘Kind’ or ‘Unkind’ before everyone said something nice about one another.

You know the ones…
The socks that have been waiting months for their partner to magically return from the washing machine. 😆
Our P–2 Design Technology students are giving those single socks a second chance at life by turning them into fabulous SOCK PUPPETS! 🎭
We’d love donations of:
🧦 Clean odd socks
🧦 Bright socks
🧦 Stripey socks
🧦 Spotty socks
🧦 Weird and wonderful socks
🧦 Big socks or little socks
🧦 Basically… any clean sock looking for a new purpose!
Please send your lonely socks along to school and help us create a whole cast of quirky puppet characters.
There is a special house for socks in Admin where you can drop them off!
Because every sock deserves a happy ending… even if its other half disappeared in the wash! 🧦✨
