'My time at Hoxton Park High School (HPHS) was unforgettable. The teachers, support, and the wide variety of subjects offered allowed me to find what I was passionate about, especially when navigating my career. I discovered my calling was health and more importantly to help people. I now work as a cardiac physiologist & echocardiographer in the hospital setting, delivering critical cardiac care to patients alongside cardiologists. HPHS also instilled the importance of working hard and balancing numerous tasks, as the school offered valuable and insightful extracurricular and leadership activities. This helped me become more confident and positively built my work ethic.'

As part of our Self Select Program, 9RED attended a one day workshop led by Beacon Foundation and Clayton Utz.

Our students learnt the importance of first impressions, how to do an elevator pitch and even had time to ace their first mock interviews!

Last Friday, Year 11 SLR students spent the day touring SCG and Allianz Stadium.

Students were able to experience the behind the scenes and got an opportunity to watch the Sydney Swans train.

🍪🔬 Our Year 11 Food Technology students enjoyed an exciting excursion to UNSW Faculty of Science and Engineering! Students explored food science pathways, conducted a cookie experiment using different sugars and sugar replacements, and completed a sensory analysis.

HPHS wishes to congratulate Tali for an amazing achievement at the All Schools Volleyball tournament! Her team fought hard and finished with a silver medal, narrowly missing out to Victoria. 🥈

In addition to this fantastic result, Tali has been honoured with selection in the prestigious All Australians Team! We look forward to supporting Tali at her next tournament 🏐
