Aboriginal Health Service 03 9419 300 - The Victorian Aboriginal Health Service (VAHS) was established in 1973 to address the specific medical needs of Victorian indigenous communities. The organisation has expanded steadily over past 40 years to provide a comprehensive range of medical, dental and social services for our community. Breastfeeding Helpline 1800 686 286 - provide information about how breastfeeding works to help you overcome common hurdles and to reassure you that you're doing the very best for your family. Noah’s Ark 1800 819 140 - Noah’s Ark is a not-for-profit community organisation based in Victoria, NSW and the ACT, Australia. We offer a range of services and programs that support families who have a child (aged 0-12) with a disability or additional needs. Keeping Children Safe Online 💻💛

As a centre, children’s safety, privacy and dignity will always be at the forefront of how we share their learning.

As part of our commitment to keeping children safe in an increasingly digital world, we will be intentional about the images we capture and share. We will use limited identifying images of children, with a greater focus on their learning, experiences, creations, environments, relationships and the incredible work our educators facilitate.

As educators, we will:

• 🔒 Protect children’s privacy by limiting images that clearly identify individual children.
• 👀 Be thoughtful about what we share, considering the information an image may reveal about a child.
• 💛 Respect children’s dignity by ensuring every image shared represents children respectfully and appropriately.
• 🌱 Celebrate the learning, not just the photograph, highlighting children’s ideas, skills, creativity and experiences.
• 🗣️ Value children’s voice and agency by considering how children want their learning and experiences represented.
• 🛡️ Support children’s digital safety by reducing unnecessary identifying information and protecting their emerging digital identities.

Being faceless doesn’t mean our learning will be unseen.

It means we will be more intentional, thoughtful and respectful in how we share the incredible learning that happens within our centre. We will continue to celebrate the joy, curiosity, creativity and relationships that make our learning community so special while taking meaningful steps to protect the children in our care.
