EARLY LEARNING MATTERS WEEK

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible impact of early childhood education and the vital, professional role our educators play in every child's journey.

At Natimuk Preschool, educators hosted a special evening under the stars. Children and families gathered around the fire pit, surrounded by the warm glow of lights and candles, to share in the magic of connection and community.

While the evening was filled with warmth and wonder, it was also a powerful reminder of the expertise and dedication our team brings to the table every day. High-quality early learning is about so much more than just the classroom—it’s about the intentional, professional care that fosters the relationships and memories we build together.

🔧Unfortunately, due to technical issues, we are unable to send out the 2027 kindergarten offers for Horsham & District kindergarten services.

We are working diligently to resolve the issue and hope to have it fixed as soon as possible.

Last week, our teams across EEYS services swapped their work attire for something a little more comfortable. Our head office team also joined in on the fun! ✨

It was all about coming together for a morning tea to raise funds and awareness for children in foster care. We’re so proud to support the vital work of The Pyjama Foundation. Thanks to everyone who joined the fun!💙

We will be ready for the next opportunity 🌈

|| GRANT UPDATE – RAINBOW EARLY YEARS HUB ||

With great disappointment, we can confirm that our grant application for the new Rainbow Early Years Hub was unsuccessful. This application was a joint submission with Emerge Early Years Service to the Federal Government’s Building Early Education Fund.

The preparation for this application can now be built on for future applications, and this project continues to remain a focus for us in our service planning and advocacy efforts.

Thank you to the Rainbow community for their support with strong attendance at the community information meeting and the contributions made to the online letter of support. We will work with Emerge, Rainbow P-12 College, and the community for future applications to ensure that our youngest residents and their families are supported in the community.
