It’s Early Childhood Educator Day and I want to shout out to our team of amazing Early Childhood Music educators Carmel, Anna and Lexie and all the wonderful ELC educators we work with a Handprints ELC’s, Play Park ELC, Turner Rd Preschool and all of the other fabulous educators at centres we’ve worked in this year. We see you and you are all wonderful and doing important work!

Thank you Asquith Public School! Our Book week workshops on Monday and Friday this week at APS were a big hit, we had kids singing, dancing and making marvelous music for our Symphony of Stories. BRAVO to all our very fine Musicians!

Thank you for having us today St Patrick’s Asquith for Book Week 2026 ‘Symphony of Stories’.

Our music workshops focused on ‘The Frogs First Song’ for K-2 where we created an epic Frog Symphony with voices and percussion instruments and ‘Ink and Sound’ for 3-6 based on the award winning book ‘Inked’ about an Opera Singing Octopus. It was incredible creating layered sounds and ostinatos with the children.

Winter sport's winding down — which means Thursday afternoons just opened up. Perfect timing, because our Peter Pan the Musical ensemble still has room for a few more mermaids, pirates and lost boys to join the crew.

No experience needed. Just bring your kid, their imagination, and a willingness to learn a pirate strut, a mermaid tail swish or a lost boys war cry.

When: Rehearsals Thursdays 4:30–6pm during Term 3 & 4

Congrats to our fabulous Fundrum crew last night performing at the Hornsby After Dark Twilight Markets! You were all rock stars!

Come and see our Fundrummers perform and some of our vocal students busking at the Hornsby Twilight markets this Saturday night between 6-6.30pm. We will be on the Astro turf near the fountain. It’s a fun night with lots of food trucks and stalls and free activities for kids.

This is our Fundrummers practicing this afternoon with their new light saber drumsticks!

Thanks to the fabulous team at Kenthurst Preschool for having Kylie & Carmel present our two hour SING.DANCE.PLAY music workshop for ELC’s today.

Empowering early childhood educators to include more music activities in their programs, be more confident with their voices and know where to find quality music to use is important to us.
