Now THAT’S how you kick off a comp season!

A huge shoutout to our Performance Troupe after their first comp of the year last weekend - bringing the talent, energy, teamwork and good vibes, on and off the stage 🎉🫶

🥇 1st Place - 14U Musical Theatre
🏆 Platinum Spirit Award - recognising outstanding sportsmanship, positive energy, respectful backstage behaviour and great community spirit!

We’re SO proud of this team and the way they supported, encouraged and celebrated each other throughout the event. 💙

Get ready to dance in your comfiest PJs while raising money for kids in foster care - Pyjama Week is coming up next week at the studio! 🧸🤍

📆 Monday 3 - Saturday 8 August

Dancers are invited to wear their pyjamas to class all week and bring a gold coin donation to support the Pyjama Foundation - helping foster children build confidence, literacy and life skills.

GLM Dance Studio has been awarded most Outstanding Performing Arts at the 2026 Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Local Business Awards! ✨

What an incredible honour.

To everyone who voted for us, thank you. 💙 Your support helped us become finalists, and now, winners.

But more than that... thank you to our entire GLM community!

Our dancers. Our families. Our adult students. Our teachers. Our supporters. Our friends. Our GLM family - past and present.

This award has GLM’s name on it, but it belongs to all of us. 🫶

Every class, every Showcase, every friendship, every challenge overcome and every special moment has helped shape the studio we are today.

For over 10 years, our goal has never been simply to teach dance.

GLM’s mission has been to create a place where every dancer belongs, grows and shines. A place where confidence is built, friendships grow and people of all ages and experience levels feel welcomed, supported and encouraged to be themselves.

To receive this recognition is incredibly special, and it inspires us to keep doing what we love every single week.

Thank you for believing in GLM, for growing with us, and for helping us share the joy of dance with our wider Hornsby Ku-ring-gai community.
