Bullying often starts by leaving someone out. Karate teaches us to bring people in.

That’s what Karate Against Bullying is all about.

This week we’re organising a buddy training session for students as part of Australia’s Karate Against Australia Bullying Initiative.

Buddy training reminds students that karate is not just about individual effort. It is also about teamwork, encouragement and helping others feel included.

🥋 FREE ANTI-BULLYING WORKSHOP🥋

Bullying can be a tough thing for kids to deal with, especially when they’re not sure what to say or do.

That’s why we’re running a FREE Anti-Bullying Workshop for kids aged 8–10.

This will be a small group of just 10 kids, giving them the chance to learn practical strategies in a supportive environment and build the confidence to recognise bullying, respond appropriately and know when to ask for help.

❤️ This workshop isn’t for our current students!

We’re opening this up to kids from our local community, so if your child doesn’t train at BBMA, they’re welcome to join us.

No need to be a martial artist or have any previous experience, just come along and learn some really important skills in a fun and supportive setting.

🥋 BULLYING? NO WAY!👊

From Monday 17th – Saturday 22nd August, we’re opening our doors for a special Bullying No Way Open Class Week for kids aged 5–8 years old.

It’s a chance for kids to come along, have some fun, learn some simple self-defence skills and learn what it means to be confident, respectful and stand up for themselves and others.

No experience needed, just come along and give it a go! ❤️
