Jewellery / Silversmithing Tutor Position Available – Sydney Art School - Hornsby
Sydney Art School is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled, versatile Jewellery or Silversmithing Tutor to join our team.
As Australia’s leading private college for visual arts skills development and a Registered Training Organisation, we deliver high-quality classes to both domestic and international students.
Our jewellery students include those working towards Diploma-level qualifications as well as adults developing skills for personal interest or career pathways.

What we’re looking for
Essential
* Proven experience in jewellery making and/or silversmithing
* Strong ethics, integrity and a collaborative team spirit
* Friendly, clear communicator who can give effective direction to students and work well with other tutors
* Fluent English (additional languages are a plus, given our culturally diverse student cohort)
* Reliable and punctual
Desirable
* Formal qualifications, or current enrolment, in a related undergraduate or post-secondary course
* Experience working with metal clays
* Ability to teach across other disciplines such as painting, drawing or printmaking
* Organised yet flexible approach — you’ll work with students at varying skill levels from week to week
