We recently introduced elements of music therapy into our individual speech develoment lessons. As music has positive influence on the brain, we observed significant improvement of speech in children.
Music develops speech because it shares structural similarities with language, like rhythm and pitch, which activate similar brain pathways. Musical activities like singing nursery rhymes help with language comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and phonological awareness by making repetition, rhythm, and rhyme easier for children to process and remember.

Dear Friends! Again this year our RCG Dance and Music non-profit group is holding a "Young Musicians Concert" event at Hornsby RSL Club. We invite all parents and friends to come and watch young musicians aged 8 to 21 performing on the stage in solo, duets, trio, and vocal combinations, showcasing their talents to the broader community. This is a great opportunity to meet young people with variable musical instruments as this may be the right start for you to choose the instrument. You will hear the guitar, piano, flute, clarinet, and vocal performances. Please follow the link to buy tickets for this event: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/young-musicians-concert-tickets-1027649054987?utm-campaign=social&utm-content=attendeeshare&utm-medium=discovery&utm-term=listing&utm-source=cp&aff=ebdsshcopyurl
