Our School Captains and Middle SRC representatives recently got an exclusive sneak peek and taste! of the new TK Tuckshop menu launching in Term 4.

The unanimous takeaway? The sushi is a massive hit and Monday/Friday lunch prep just got a whole lot easier! See below what our student taste-testers had to say 👇

Missed the Father's Day Stall? Don't worry! We’re running a pop-up stall tomorrow after school for anyone who missed out or wants to grab an extra gift. Bring a few gold coins/cash and meet us under the Play Plaza right after the bell!

On Wednesday, 2 September, we’re celebrating Indigenous Literacy Day—a national day honouring the rich diversity of First Nations stories, cultures and languages. This year’s theme, "Country Is Our Teacher," highlights the deep connection between storytelling, language, and the environment. To celebrate, one of our teachers will be reading an Indigenous book during break time!

This week at St James we are celebrating our dad and special male role models in our children's lives! Don't forget the Father's day stall tomorrow and our annual Father's day breakfast on Friday beginning at 8.00am.

Also this week, we are conducting our School Review. Parents are warmly invited to attend one of two feedback sessions with the reviewer: Monday at 2:45 PM or Thursday at 8:45 AM. We would love to hear your thoughts!

This week at St James we are celebrating Book Week! The theme for Book Week is 'Symphony of Stories'. Our annual Book Week parade is being held in the Paulist Centre at 9.00am on Wednesday. Due to the Parade, the Senior Learning Community specialist day has changed to Monday.

Next week we’ll be celebrating Book Week 2026 – Symphony of Stories at St James!

We’re looking forward to a great week celebrating books, stories and a love of reading.

🎭 Wednesday 26 August – Book Week Parade at 9:00am
Students are invited to come dressed as a favourite book character.

📖 Thursday 27 August – Open Library, 3:10–4:00pm
Families are invited to pop into our library after school and have a look around.

We can’t wait to see all the wonderful costumes and celebrate Book Week together! 📚
