HCSC Launches Cricket Academy in 2027

HOPPERS CROSSING SECONDARY COLLEGE, in partnership with Academy Movement Inc and Cricket Victoriactoria and Melbourne Renegades , are proud to announce the launch of a subject-based Cricket Academy commencing at the College in 2027.

The HCSC Cricket Academy will cater for Year 9, 10 and 11 students, with plans to expand into Year 12 in 2028, providing a clear and supported pathway through senior secondary schooling and access to meaningful opportunities across the cricket industry.

Hoppers Crossing Secondary College joins Academy Movement’s established network of 6 Cricket Academy schools. Students in the Cricket Academy will benefit from:

Clear career pathways on and off the field
Accreditation opportunities in coaching and officiating
High academic expectations aligned to sport science, fitness industry and more
A strong VCE pathway supporting tertiary education and employment outcomes

Academy Movement are excited to bring this opportunity to students at Hoppers Crossing.

Year 8 – 10 students will attend an information assembly during P1 on Wednesday 6th May

HCSC Launches AFL Academy in 2027

HOPPERS CROSSING SECONDARY COLLEGE, in partnership with Academy Movement Inc and AFL Victoria , are proud to announce the launch of a subject-based AFL Academy commencing at the College in 2027.

The HCSC AFL Academy will cater for Year 9, 10 and 11 students, with plans to expand into Year 12 in 2028, providing a clear and supported pathway through senior secondary schooling.

Hoppers Crossing Secondary College joins Glenroy College as the second school to launch an AFL Academy under Academy Movement’s new partnership with AFL Victoria.

Students enrolled in the program will benefit from:
