From the amazing Philosophy at Western Sydney University -
"Get ready for the launch of the new international journal, "The Journal of Continental Philosophy," edited out of Philosophy@WSU and published by the prestigious Philosophy Documentation Centre in the US.
The first issue focuses on new translations, and contains previously unpublished-in-English work by thinkers like Alain Badiou, Gianni Vattimo, Michel Foucault, Simone Weil, Simone deBeauvour, Hans Georg Gadamer, and Hannah Arendt.
Translations in most cases were done by members of Philosophy@WSU, with extradordinary editorial assistance given by graduate students of philosophy at the university. Stay tuned!"
This was such an exciting project! The staff had so much patience in teaching us students the ins and outs of launching a journal. From discussing translations to finessing our editing skills, this first issue was an amazing experience and we cannot wait for the next one to come!
The Journal of Continental Philosophy will provide a new venue for original work in this rich tradition.
