Congratulations to our Card Competition Winners! 🎉

We are excited to announce the winners of our Father’s Day Card Design Competition! 🎨

Our Father’s Day Stall will be held on Thursday 3 September. Along with a variety of lovely gifts, children can also purchase a special handmade card for Mum for just $1. 💌 All funds raised from the card sales will go towards supporting our Year 6 students’ fundraising efforts for their Farewell.

Swim School💦
Our students have had a fantastic time at swim school this week! They have been having lots of fun while learning and practising important water safety skills.🏊🏼
It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they challenge themselves and develop their swimming abilities.
We are also incredibly proud of their fantastic behaviour—they have been respectful, responsible and ready to learn each day. Well done, everyone! 👏🏼

🐝 Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee 🐝

What a fantastic effort from our Years 3–6 students who put their spelling skills to the test in this year’s Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee!

👏 Congratulations to our Year Champions:
⭐ Year 6 – Zaydin
⭐ Year 5 – Idris
⭐ Year 4 – Van
⭐ Year 3 – Nathan

A huge congratulations to Zaydin, who achieved an incredible 2nd place across NSW in the School Round! 🥈

We are also very proud of the 18 students who have qualified for next week’s State/Territory Round after placing among the top 500 entrants in NSW.

Good luck to all of our qualifiers! 🐝📚✨

Interschool Chess Challenge – Semi Final ♟️

Congratulations to our chess players, Aarika, Arad, Wasim and Jayantha, who represented Holsworthy Public School at the Interschool Chess Challenge Semi Final on Wednesday!

Our team put their strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to the test against some very strong competition, achieving an impressive 5th place overall! 👏

A special congratulations to Arad, who placed 7th individually, and Wasim, who placed 11th. 🌟

Well done to all four students for representing our school with skill, focus and sportsmanship! ♟️🏆

📚✨ Book Week Parade – Part 2! ✨📚

There were far too many fantastic costumes to fit into one post, so here is another look at our wonderful Book Week Parade! 📸

Thank you to the our community for supporting our students to get into the event with their costumes. We love seeing the pride and excitement on our students' faces.

Of course, our teachers weren’t going to miss out on the fun! Staff arrived in some impressive coordinated costumes, with Wallys everywhere, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Three Little Pigs and a Big Bad Wolf, a colourful collection of Colour Monsters, and even Pac-Man and his ghosts roaming the playground! 👻🐷🌈

A huge thank you to Mrs Murphy, our wonderful librarian, for all her organisation and hard work in making Book Week such a success. 💛

There were far too many fantastic costumes to fit into one post, so here the first look at our wonderful Book Week Parade! 📸

Our school was taken over by Thing 1s and Thing 2s, witches and wizards, Cats in Hats, and even the Gruffalo! 🧙‍♀️🎩 We loved seeing the creativity and excitement our students brought to the day.

Thank you also to all our students and families who supported our Book Fair by purchasing books. Your support helps us continue to foster a love of reading across our school. 📚❤️
