Today we celebrated our wonderful educators, with some kind words and drawings from the children, a lunch and a small gift. Without our wonderful and dedicated team our preschool would not be the same. We truly value and appreciate all that you do each and every day. Happy educators day!

We would like to also say a big shout out to .au for her wonderful biscuits.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to the families who gave us sweet treats.

📚✨ What a fun and magical Book Week we had at preschool! ✨📚Our little bookworms had the best time diving into the pages of their favourite stories and designing their own.
We filled our week with dressing up in wonderful costumes, reading countless books together, and bringing classic tales to life through play.We loved acting out Room on the Broom, and the absolute biggest hit of the week was using a hairdryer to "huff and puff" and blow the house down while retelling The Three Little Pigs! 🐷💨 We also transformed our cubby house into the Three Bears' cottage for some wonderful porridge-tasting and imaginative play. 🐻🥣 It has been a fantastic week packed with creativity, giggles, and a whole lot of book love.

What a beautiful morning at Bush Kinder. The children set off on a scavenger hunt, discovering textures, colours, sounds and tiny wonders hidden throughout our natural environment. From gum leaves to wiggly sticks, every find sparked curiosity and connection with Country.

We finished our adventure at the park, where the children stretched their bodies, climbed, balanced and coordinated their movements with confidence and joy. A perfect blend of nature, learning and play

Sun-drenched adventures filled our Bush Kinder day today as we embraced nature through active play and discovery. The energy was high as we played a variety of sporting games across the park, before slowing down to search for insects and discovering fascinating cicada shells clinging to the tree trunks. The children turned into mini-scientists by testing their own theories of physics, observing gravity and motion firsthand as they rolled themselves and various objects down the grassy hill. Our outdoor exploration continued with climbing trees, collecting sticks for building, and sharing plenty of laughs while playing a favorite game of "Where is the Galah?"

🌱 We continue our wonderful partnership with SCRAP! Yesterday some of our preschool children went on a magical adventure to Peter’s garden. Our adventure was filled with muddy hands, big smiles, and amazing discoveries.The children absolutely loved exploring nature and learning how to care for our planet. Here is what our little adventurers got up to: 🪱 Wiggle Worms: Exploring Peter’s amazing worm farms and machinery to do it on a larger scale than preschools🐓 Chicken Chores: Feeding the very hungry, happy chickens and finding the one egg. 🍓 Berry Picking: Munching on sweet, fresh native raspberries. This was our favourite thing to do and Peter said he could bring us a plant for preschool next week so we can continue our learning at preschool and the enjoyment of eating what we grow. 🌿 Sensory Safari: Smelling and tasting native bush tucker and herbs.
We love watching our next generation fall in love with sustainability! Big thanks to SCRAP and Peter for such an unforgettable morning!

🍂✨ Autumn Adventures at Bush Kinder ✨🍂
Today the children explored the shadows and warm colours of autumn at Bush Kinder. They watched their shadows stretch and change, using coloured blocks to see how the light reflected through them. They collected colourful leaves, and noticed how the light transformed the bush around them. They had a joyful morning throwing autumn leaves, climbing trees, chasing each other, and rolling down the hills. So much laughter, movement, and discovery. It was a beautiful morning of curiosity, nature, and connection to Country.

This week we have been celebrating our wonderful mums, grandmothers and Aunts at preschool. We would like to thank all the families who could come and share in our morning tea events and wish you all a wonderful, relaxing Mothers Day on Sunday!
