Today we celebrated our last day of the year with our wonderful families thank you all for coming and sharing the joy.

🌱✨ What an adventure we had with Liverpool Council at Fairy Glenn walk! From planting native greenery, to scavenger hunts, creative drawings, and observing a clever bird nest made of mud — the day was full of discovery. We even explored the creek, noticing the changes in its water and the tiny bugs that call it home. It was a hot day, but the joy of connecting with nature, learning together, and caring for our environment made it truly special. 💚

We would like to say thank you to our local MP Tina Ayyad and the Liberal leader Mark Speakman for attending our preschool and showing their support towards pay parity and funding for our wonderful educators and preschool. Mr Speakman assured us that they will keep fighting the fight for us in parliament.

To all our families your support in our fight for pay parity and funding means everything. From signing and sending parliamentary letters to dressing in pink, you’ve helped amplify our voices and show that community preschools deserve respect and investment.
⭐️I would like to say thanks to our wonderful team (pictured and absent)without you all our preschool wouldn’t be the special place it is. ⭐️
We would also like to say thank you to all the people who stood for all community preschools at today’s rally in the city. Let’s hope the government hears us all!

We would like to wish you all a safe and fantastic break and we will see you all when we return on the 13th of October. Don't forget to send through your holiday photos big and small either via email or kindy hub enjoy!

You may have noticed that there are less photos of the children present on our posts, this is because we have been reflecting about our digital foot print and safety for all our children and have decided as a team we will limit our photos on social platforms, such as this.

On Thursday we are wearing yellow for R U OK day. This event is held every year in September to encourage people to have meaningful conversations with friends, family, and colleagues about mental health and wellbeing. From an early childhood perspective it is about teaching the children to express their emotions, emotional regulation techniques and how to be kind to others, so that they grow in confidence to speak up and seek help when ever needed throughout their lives.

Boy has it been a busy week at preschool not only did we have 2 Father’s Day events we also celebrated our wonderful educators. We would like to say thank you to the families who sent in warm hearted messages for the educators you made the educators feel seen and valued. But most of all we want to thank our fantastic team with out you all our wonderful preschool would not function. You all give such care and dedication to the children and families each and every day and we extremely value all of you and appreciate everything you do.

Our newest preschool member a resident male brush turkey, he has been super busy making its nest out the front of preschool, giving our children some great learning opportunities and lots of discussions
