Who better to kick things off than **Ms Ruth**! 🤍

As our Principal, High School Director, writer, and Musical Theatre teacher, Ms Ruth pours so much passion, creativity, and care into everything she does. She is deeply committed to helping every student grow in both confidence and skill, and we're so grateful for the heart she brings to HAPA every single day.

We can't wait for you to get to know her a little better!

🎉 Skills Monday is BACK! 🎉

This week, Miss Grace is sharing some of her top tips for building a strong, confident handstand. 🤸‍♀️

Handstands are a foundational skill across our Acro and Dance classes. Taking the time to build good technique now will help with strength, balance, control, and so many other skills as students continue to progress.

Skills Monday! Stage presence isn't something you're born with- it's something you practise. ✨

Here are Miss Ruth's three simple ways to build confidence on stage:

1. Take up space. Stand tall, move with purpose, and don't make yourself smaller.
2. Get comfortable being seen. The more you allow people to look at you, the more natural performing feels.
3. Be intentional with your physicality. Walk confidently, laugh freely, lift your gaze, and avoid looking at the floor.

Stage presence is so connected to CONFIDENCE! Which is a skill we can grow💛

Shadows of the Crown 2026 👑

Last term our Highschool students did a fantastic job at putting on a HAPA original 'Shadows of the Crown's. This one definitely has a special place in our hearts and we can't help but feel incredibly proud of all our students who poured out their hard work, we're courageous and chose to tell a story in front of hundreds of people. It is simply incredible!
