At St Joachim's, we are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by such a wonderful and supportive parent community.

A heartfelt thank you to all the dads, grandfathers, father figures, and families who joined us for our Father's Day Breakfast BBQ last week. It was a fantastic morning filled with laughter, conversation, and community spirit.

We are so grateful for the partnership we share with our families. Your support, generosity, and commitment help make St Joachim's such a special place for our children to learn, grow, and thrive.

The excitement is building as we look forward to our Dance Gala Day this Wednesday!

Our talented students have been working hard to learn their routines, and we can't wait to see them take to the stage with confidence, energy and big smiles. It promises to be a fantastic day of music, movement, teamwork and fun as schools come together to celebrate the joy of dance.

Today, we celebrate all the wonderful dads, grandfathers, and father figures who guide, support, encourage, and love so generously.

At St Joachimโ€™s, this day holds special significance. Our school is named after St Joachim, the grandfather of Jesus. St Joachim is remembered as a faithful, hardworking, and devoted family man whose love and care helped nurture the Holy Family. His example reminds us of the important role that fathers and grandfathers play in the lives of children and families.

We thank all the men who share their wisdom, strength, kindness, and love with the children in their lives each and every day.

May you enjoy a special Fatherโ€™s Day surrounded by your beautiful families, creating treasured memories together.

We are looking forward to an exciting week ahead at St Joachimโ€™s, with so many wonderful opportunities for our students. From the Zing Activ Dance Competition and Zones Athletics Carnival to the much-anticipated Year 4 Camp, there is plenty of excitement on the horizon. And, of course, we will finish the week with our whole-school Fete on Sunday 13 September. All are welcome!

There is so much to look forward to as we come together to celebrate, learn, have fun and create lasting memories as a school community!

A huge thank you to all of the fathers, grandfathers, and special father figures who joined us for our Father's Day Breakfast this morning. It was wonderful to see so many families come together to celebrate the important role you play in our students' lives.

The morning was a tremendous success, filled with laughter, conversations, and special moments shared over breakfast. Thank you for taking the time to be part of this cherished St Joachim's tradition.

One of our favourite Book Week traditions is almost here! Tomorrow, students will have the opportunity to share the joy of reading with their families during our annual Rug Reading.

Thereโ€™s something special about snuggling up with a great book, and we canโ€™t wait to share our favourite stories with our mums, dads and special family members under the beautiful jacaranda trees. ๐Ÿ’œ

What a wonderful celebration of stories, imagination and creativity! Todayโ€™s Book Week Parade was filled with colour, excitement and plenty of memorable characters as our students and staff brought books to life.

A huge thank you to our families for the fantastic effort you put into creating such amazing costumes. Thank you also to our incredible staff team for wholeheartedly embracing this year's theme and going all out along the Yellow Brick Road. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’›

Book Week is always a highlight on the St Joachimโ€™s calendar, and todayโ€™s parade certainly did not disappoint. A special thank you to Mrs Eddy for organising another outstanding Book Week Parade and helping to create such a magical celebration of reading for our school community.
