LAST CHANCE to come on a cinematic journey around the world to learn more about our relationship with rivers, with a free screening of the documentary RIVER this Wed 26 August from 5.30PM at Holbrook Library.
Throughout history, rivers have shaped our landscapes and our journeys and influenced our cultures. RIVER takes the audience on a journey spanning six continents, showing rivers at scales and perspectives never seen before. It honours the wildness of rivers while recognising their vulnerability.
Narrated by Willem Dafoe and scored by the Australian Chamber Orchestra, the film invites us to witness rivers as powerful, living forces connecting all life.
