Symphony of Stories! Book Week 2026 💚

Congratulations to our students Mia Wailes and Willow Hulme. Willow was runner up B&F in the under 13s netball and junior club person of the year for Holbrook Netball Club and Mia received the most improved for the under 10s. Well done girls 💚💛

Yerong Creek football and netball carnival was a great success today. Our senior boys combined team won the grand final and our junior boys combined were runners up. Our netballers tried hard all day and improved with each game. We even learnt what’s inside a football after one exploded today, thanks Jasper! Well done to all our students who represented our school so admirably and most importantly had smiling happy faces all day. Thank you to the organisers who put on a great day every year and of course our parents for their support all day.

Last week our Year 3/4 and 5/6 students engaged in a Peer Relationships workshop run by a wellbeing practitioner from Centacare South West NSW. We value our partnership with Centacare, who provide such important services to our Catholic schools. ❤️

⭐️ Another busy morning with our Kinder Kids transitioning to the classroom.
Some benefits we’ve noticed from our year long transition program:
• A strong sense of belonging = students confidently arriving without a fuss
• Increased confidence and independence with name writing and recognition
• Awareness of school expectations and routines = smooth transitions between tasks
• An appreciation of stories and high engagement in discussions
