Tai Chi Hobart

Tai Chi Hobart Classes are on TUESDAYS FROM 5:30pm. The instruction of Tai Ji Quan at the Hobart Chinese Community Centre in North Hobart focuses on this fundamental tenet.

Tai Chi Hobart teaches Tai Ji Quan; an "internal" martial arts system for self defence that has fantastic health benefits deriving from one's application to their training. To experience the full range of health benefits that the practice of Tai Ji Quan offers, knowledge and application of the martial intention of each movement in the form is essential. Come and learn to align your movements from

your core by combining relaxation and intention. Coordinating slow rhythmic movement with breath and balance will contribute to a meditative state of mind and sense of well-being at the end of each class. The principles of Tai Ji Quan emphasize
...relaxation
...body alignment
...breathe awareness
...the promotion of core strength
And the directing ones movement from their centre
