MEET THE DRAMA LLAMAS!
These drama llamas are landing in the Lower Primary classes this week. But don't be fooled by their cuddly bodies and smiling faces! The drama llamas are terrible fibbers and tell the most outrageous stories about what they have been up to.
Each week, a student's name will be drawn to take the drama llama home and look after him or her. When they bring the drama llama back the next week, they can tell the class what the llama has been up to - as simple as "he went on a pirate ship" to the wildest story they can think of!
This is a fun exercise to encourage creativity and imagination, and is not meant to add to a parent's load! There's nothing you need to do except try to remember to bring the drama llama back the following week. I had the idea when I asked my West Hobart class one week to tell me a lie about how they got to class that day - and the stories they came up with on the spot were gold!
West Hobart Lower Primary have named their llama Lights, Camera, Action! I wonder what the Bellerive Lower Primary class will name theirs today?
