Take home a finished animal drawing and build your skills — great practice if you’re thinking about entering the Kingborough Art Prize later in the year, or just want to learn a new skill and try something different!

♻️ Calling all creative kids in Kingborough!

The 2025 Recycling Truck Art Competition is now open for primary-aged students (4–12 years).

Design artwork that helps spread the message: 🚫 Plastic bags don’t belong in the recycling bin!

🏆 Two winning designs will be featured on Kingborough's Recycling Truck, with four runners-up also recognised. All six artists will receive a $50 gift voucher!

📅 Entries close Friday, 26 September.
Winners announced during National Recycling Week in November.

Kingborough Art Prize 2025 - Youth Entry Form 2025 KINGBOROUGH ART PRIZE - YOUTH ENTRY FORM

'Snack and Paint' is a fun and relaxing activity for young people aged 12 - 19. Join artist Yilian (art from scratch) as she guides you step-by-step in creating a magnificent winter-themed canvas artwork (pictured below). No experience needed - everyone will succeed in creating their own artwork to take home, plus enjoy some tasty snacks as you paint!
