Do you have a heritage property? The Tasmanian Government’s Built Heritage Grants Scheme aims to ensure Tasmania’s built heritage places are valued, maintained and leveraged for the benefit of Tasmania and Tasmanians.

Round 3 of the Grants Scheme is now open for applications and closes 2:00pm, Friday 19 December 2025.

A total of $1.3 million is being made available under Round 3 through two programs:

Small Grants Program: supporting state-registered heritage owners to undertake small but significant, heritage conservation and restoration.

Large Grants Program: supporting heritage property owners, skills development organisations and the community to activate heritage places and engage community support for built heritage.

Full details in the Grants Scheme Guidelines are available from the Heritage Tasmania webpage.

Applications must be submitted via the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania’s online grants portal. The link to the application form is now live on the Heritage Tasmania webpage.

Should you have any questions, you can email Heritage Tasmania at [email protected] or phone on 1300 850 332.

If we can assist with your project works, please feel free to make contact with Andy Armstrong: Architect.
