Lately, we've been treated to a lot of entertainment with the fantastic plays our schools have been putting on 🎭🌟

Amazing to see so much talent, from the actors to the crew, the bands and the staff supporting them πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Do you live or work in greater Launceston or will you be in the area on 15 June?

A reminder that the Australian Government is testing its new emergency warning system on Monday 15 June.

Any compatible mobile devices such as tablets, smartwatches and mobile phones will receive a Priority Alert – this is a β€˜watch and act’ alert.

Your device will play a siren-like warning sound and display a test message at the same time.

Don’t be alarmed when you receive this. You don’t need to do anything and the sound should only last for around 10 seconds.

If you would like to avoid the alert, please turn your phone off during this time.

For more information, visit: www.ausalert.gov.au

It was great to see so many students brave the chilly Tassie weather to participate in this year's Walk Safely to School Day! 🌳

This day encourages safety, health and looking after our environment on the way to school 🏫
And how beautiful are all the different sceneries students pass on their walks πŸ‚β›°οΈπŸŒŠ

Looking for meaningful work that fits around your lifestyle? We're on the lookout for caring and reliable Bus Attendants to join our relief register across Tasmania.

Support students with disabilities as they travel to and from our support schools which are based in the Launceston, Burnie, Devonport, and Hobart areas.

The role would suit someone looking for:

βœ… A short morning shift (7–10am)
βœ… An afternoon role (2–5pm)
βœ… Work during school terms only
βœ… Flexibility and great opportunities

Whether you’re semi-retired, a parent, studying, or simply looking for rewarding part-time work - this could be just what you’re after! To be eligible, you must hold a current Working with Vulnerable People Registration.

Know someone who’d be great? Share this post with them.
