🎤✨ WE ARE PROUD TO WELCOME JORJA GEEVES TO THE SINGING HUB TEAM ✨🎤
House of Dance and The Singing Hub are thrilled to announce that Jorja Geeves will be joining our teaching team.
A proud Tasmanian performer, Jorja has spent the last 17 years developing her skills in musical theatre, performance and vocal training. In 2024, she graduated with a Diploma of Musical Theatre from WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts), one of Australia’s leading performing arts institutions.
Jorja’s impressive performance credits include Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown: The Musical, Martha Dunnstock in Heathers, Miss Lynch in Grease, Mrs Harcourt in Anything Goes, Big Jule in Guys and Dolls, and Factory Girl/Babet in Les Misérables.
Most recently, audiences will know Jorja from her starring role as Juliet in the sell-out Tasmanian premiere season of & Juliet at the Theatre Royal Hobart.
Alongside her professional training and performance career, Jorja has been a familiar face on Tasmanian stages since childhood, earning numerous awards including the Don Gay Memorial Musical Theatre Award and the Open Vocal Performance Award at the City of Hobart Performing Arts Eisteddfod.
Jorja brings a wealth of industry knowledge, passion, warmth and experience to our students, and we cannot wait for our Singing Hub performers to learn from her.
Please join us in giving Jorja a huge House of Dance welcome! 🧡
