Stay safe and float on! Always remember to wear a lifejacket when you're out on the water and enjoy a water way of life. It's not just a smart move, it could also save your life.

This is a sad, sobering message but one that has to be told - Six Tasmanian men lost their life in the past year due to drowning; six important, loved members of our community; fathers, sons, husbands, workmates, team members.
Our President, Pene Snashall, joined forces today with Surf Lifesaving Tas to launch the national drowning report and send a strong reminder to everyone to keep an eye on your mates around water. Don't take risks around water, don't overestimate your skill or fitness level, don't mix alcohol with water activities, and invest in CPR lessons.
You might save a life and it could be your own.

Royal Life Saving - Tasmania "Odd Sock Appeal" received a bag of children's socks from Nan Di and Ellie. These socks will assist injured animals in the devastated areas on the New South Wales South Coast in their recovery.
Thank you Ellie for your kind donation, there are going to be some pretty colorful Koalas and other animals enjoying the warmth and comfort of your socks.
