🪹 One of those moments we will remember forever. Can you see it?
We say our nature connection holiday program builds memories. This was one of those for us all. While sitting having our hot chocolate, one of the younger kids pointed up and said quietly, “there’s an owl.” It was of course a tawny frogmouth sitting quietly almost invisible to us all. 🦉
When we watched closely there were 2 fuzzy grey, fluffy heads poking out behind her!
“She’s really good at building a nest!”
“There are her babies!!”
“It’s so hard to see it!”
“I think I could build a nest like that, it’s out of sticks.”
“I’ve never seen babies before.”
“That’s a good place for a nest, it’s a strong tree.”🌳
Not part of the owl family but a real treat to see and learn more about these quiet birds. ✨
