Book Week 2026!
Thank you to all of the families who helped prepare costumes and props, and to those who were able to make it along to our parade today. There was a fantastic turn out with so many students dressed up as a favourite book character to celebrate Book Week.

For anyone keen to go along and see our wonderful Young Archies entries, along with a lot of other amazing artwork, the exhibition will be at the Hunter Street UTAS campus from 31st August-13th September.

Issue 6 of Scholastic Book Club has been distributed to students. Orders are due by Friday 18th September. Orders can be placed online via the Scholastic LOOP platform.

Next week is Book Week and in addition to our Book Week Parade on Wednesday morning at 9:05am, we also have a range of other exciting things happening. Our Book Fair will be open in the library from 8:30-9:00am each morning and 2:55-3:30pm Monday to Thursday. We are looking forward to a fun week.

What a wonderful week we have coming up! This week begins our Values focus on Responsibility: Stepping up and doing what is right. We also have many science week celebrations happening with several excursions and our Science Week Open Afternoon on Thursday. Come along and join us from 1:45-2:35pm on Thursday 20th for some science week activities in classrooms.

During Book Week we will be holding a Scholastic Book Fair. This will be held in the school library and staffed from 8:30-9:00am each morning and 2:55-3:30pm each afternoon in Week 5. Parents are also welcome to pop over after the book parade on Wednesday morning. Classes will have an opportunity to look at the items available during the week, but purchasing will only occur in the advertised hours.
