On Monday, Curious Climate Schools visited our Environmental Science class with their interactive program The Heat Is On. Students were transported to the year 2050, stepping into a future shaped by more frequent and intense extreme weather events.
Working in teams as town councils on the island of Adaptania, they tackled real-world challenge, making decisions to help their communities adapt and build resilience to climate change.
A fantastic hands-on learning opportunity, thank you Curious Climate Schools!

This week is National Chaplaincy Week. A big thank you to our school chaplain, Evan, for the care, support and kindness he brings to our community every day.
Evan provides pastoral care, runs Spirituality Group each week, helps with Breakfast Club and supports many of our initiatives and events around the college. Students can book an appointment with Evan by visiting Student Services or scanning the QR code found around the college to make a referral.
We appreciate everything you do, Evan! 🙌

Outdoor Education students have recently returned from their Cradle Mountain camp. During this experience, students learnt about alpine environments, further developed their hiking fitness, leadership skills, and enjoyed the iconic views of mountains, lakes and the golden colours of fagus throughout the valley. Well done Outdoor Ed!

Last week our Student Leaders and ECAAD students volunteered their time as ushers and attended the National Reconciliation Week Breakfast at MyState Arena.
We are proud of the way they represented our community and contributed to such an important day of reflection and connection.
