We had such a terrific time exploring fruit and veg last fortnight I've extended our food theme for the next couple of weeks! I've added lots of new food related resources to the play area that I'm excited for the children to explore :)

Also, a reminder that next Monday (the 13th) is a public holiday, so there is no care that day.

We will be exploring Fruit and Vegetables this fortnight!

Wowsers, we've had some wild weather the past few days, but then sunny skies for Mother's Day! So this fortnight we will be looking at all things weather.

Easter is nearly here! 😱 So this fortnight we will be exploring lots of fun Easter themed crafts and activities.

This fortnight's theme will be all about Babies! Reminder that it's a public holiday this Monday (14th) so no care. Also I've received word that mask mandates are still in place for all education services (including family day care) at least until the end of term.

I'm rather sad back to school has come around already, but I hope everyone has a fantastic start to the new school year! Another long weekend, so back to it on Tuesday where our activities will be centered on love emotions (kindness, caring and empathy).

We will be exploring a magical theme this coming fortnight, I expect this might be quite popular and may extend longer but we'll see where the children's interests take us!

Oops, I totally forgot that the 26th is a public holiday when doing up the fortnightly program🤦🏻‍♀️ Too excited to get back to work! Day care is closed on the 26th for the public holiday.

Day care resumes this Monday 🎉 I hope you've all had a lovely break. We're off to the beach on Monday (should be a nice 25 degrees) so please pack your children some swimming gear. I look forward to seeing you all :)

🎉 Yay Tassie! Back to fairly normal operation tomorrow, health advice currently is that all those over 12 still wear face masks and if unwell get tested and stay home, but otherwise we can get back to it! :)

Hi everyone, I will be open as normal tomorrow, but following the public health advice (and for the safety of my family and yours) please only bring your children if you are a permitted worker and your child/ren are unable to be cared for by anyone else in your covid 'bubble'. Also please keep your child/ren at home if they have a runny nose or a cough, sore throat, etc. All adults will need to wear face masks (including myself) and I will be placing the sign in tablet and hand sanitiser outside the care door. Please still let me know if you won't be attending.

Thanks everyone for doing your part to keep everyone safe, I know measures like this are tough and all fingers and toes crossed there are no cases by Monday night and we can avoid an extended lockdown!
