Collegiate had five teams participate in the School Futsal Titles across Years 5 to 10. All teams did a fantastic job competing against a range of schools in fast-paced 20-minute matches. Well done to all teams on their great efforts. It was wonderful to see our students demonstrate teamwork, determination and school spirit across the events. 🌟

Year 5/6 Dance Troupe win 1st place!🌟

Congratulations to our Year 5/6 Dance Troupe! On Friday night, the troupe performed beautifully at Dance Life Unite Competition, taking out 1st Place for their lyrical group routine. We are so proud of their hard work and achievement.

A special congratulations to SPA Dance students Violet and India (Year 10), who have been developing their choreography and leadership skills by assisting Miss Braithwaite with lunchtime rehearsals. Their dedication and encouragement make them wonderful role models for our younger dancers.

We look forward to seeing them perform again at the upcoming Southern Tasmanian Dancing Eisteddfod. Well done, everyone! 🎉

Your wisdom, encouragement, hugs and unwavering support make a world of difference to our girls. Thank you for being such a valued part of our close-knit school community.

It was wonderful to welcome so many grandparents into our classrooms and share a glimpse of school life with you. We hope you enjoyed spending time with your granddaughters and creating special memories together.

Learning from one another is a special part of life at Collegiate. 💕

Our Year 3 students were delighted to welcome Year 12 student Maddy, who shared her experiences as a Tasmanian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.

Maddy spoke about growing up on the Torres Strait Islands, where she had a pet turtle, before moving to Cairns and later Tasmania.

She shared her insights on reconciliation, the importance of building respectful relationships between all Australians, and how we can work together to care for Country and strengthen our communities.

Our younger students had plenty of thoughtful questions and were completely engaged by Maddy’s visit.

Thank you, Maddy, for sharing your stories and wisdom with our curious Year 3 learners. 🙏
