Guest speaker: Diana Butler, CEO, Care for Aftrica ✨

It was a special pleasure to welcome Collegiate alumna Diana Butler OAM back to Collegiate today—her first visit to our School in 48 years!

Diana spoke with our students about her journey and the story behind Care for Africa Foundation the organisation she founded in 2006. What began with a desire to make a difference has grown into an organisation working alongside rural communities in the Tarime District of Tanzania, supporting sustainable access to clean water, health, education and women’s enterprise.

Diana shared her experiences, the lessons she has learnt along the way and the importance of working with communities to create lasting change.

🎉 A huge congratulations to our Years 7–12 Collegiate Swimming Team, who competed at the SSATIS Swimming Carnival! 🌟

It was fantastic to see our students representing Collegiate with such enthusiasm, determination and team spirit. From individual events to fiercely competitive relays, our swimmers gave their very best.

Team results include:

4th – U15 Pennant
1st – U16 Pennant
4th – Girls Senior School
2nd – Girls Aggregate Shield
2nd – Girls Junior Shield

A big thank you to all the dads, father figures and special people who joined us for our Father’s Day Breakfast during the week. We love welcoming you onto campus and sharing these special moments with our community.

A very special thank you to Scott Harris from SHE Gynaecological Cancer Group for joining us, sharing your story and speaking so openly with our community. We’re grateful for the opportunity to hear about the important work of The SHE Foundation.

🚗 Year 10 gets road-ready with RYDA

Our Year 10 students recently took part in RYDA, Road Safety Education’s interactive road safety program, designed to help young people develop the knowledge, strategies and confidence to make safer choices as drivers and passengers.

Students explored the impact of distraction, peer influence, risk and decision-making, with practical activities and discussions encouraging them to think about how their choices can affect themselves and others on the road.

A valuable day of learning, reflection and real-world experiences as our students build skills for the road ahead. 🚦
