💚 Briony sat down with young journalist Georgia from the Cygnet Film School this weekend to talk about why sustainability is at the heart of our Kids' Fashion Program, and what it really means to "build utopia" through textile recycling and fashion education.

Collaborating with young creatives is one of our favourite things, and it was a pleasure to work with these young filmakers.

Textile waste is a global priority, and Briony talked with Georgia about our textile recycling program and how important it is to embed sustainable values into our Kid's Fashion Runway Class. 80% of their garments will be sewn from pre-loved fabric donated by the community. "There is much fabric in the world already. We need to be part of the solution, not the problem. "

Thank you so much to and for giving the chance for our Kid’s Fashion Runway students to experience the open studio of an extraordinary working textile artist. They left inspired and excited, with the reminder to always ask first before cutting into the curtains or couch before creating textile art 🤣. So true.
