What a beautiful morning it was in Hobart this morning 🌄

An early start but well worth it as we headed to the Australian Workforce Cyber Challenge (AWCC) Pilot launch at the stunning The Forest Campus at the University of Tasmania.

Delivered in partnership with the Tasmanian Government, Skills Solutions Australia, Comtech Training, and the University of Tasmania, the initiative aligns with the Digital Tasmania strategy and focuses on building cyber resilience, workforce capability, and clearer pathways into cyber careers.

Through practical Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, teamwork, mentorship, and real-world cyber environments, participants gain valuable experience while connecting with industry, government, and education partners. The pilot supports tertiary students, ICT professionals, career changers, educators, industry participants, and State Service teams, creating an inclusive opportunity to learn, collaborate, and build cyber capability together.
