People ask me all the time why do you HAVE to gym all the time? Well I don't have to but i need to, it makes me feel alot better, I give myself rest days when I need to. I try my best to eat well, sure there's days I don't but I'm not too strict on myself as I always try my best to push myself 100% at each session.
Some days I really don't feel up to getting up early and going to the gym but I make myself go and sure it wasn't my best efforts but it certainly made me feel better and I got to see my friends there to. Working out with people that don't judge and can see you maybe having a flat day and just support you through it just makes you want to turn up more and more.
The gym has been the best thing for my physical and mental health, my social life and just my everyday life!
So if you're wanting to start but don't feel confident enough to do so grab a friend and just do your best that's all you have to do! 💖

Struggling to keep motivated? Feeling like you can't join a gym because you're not "FIT" enough or worried people will laugh at you? Always remember that we all think this and we all had to start somewhere, but WE ALL HAVE STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES and with the right support and group of people anything is possible! Hopefully this post helps a few people realise that you can achieve anything you put your mind to!
I have had days where i really couldn't be bothered and thought i'm not going to be able to give my all and wouldn't be able to do the workout, but i just did my best and kept consistent. CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY!!! Just give your 110% on the day thats all you need to do even if you're sitting at 80% use that 80% and see some changes at the end of the day small changes are still changes!
Before starting at EOS gym i had never done a double under in my life, nor did i think i ever would. I was always used to skipping small jumps and fast feet which clearly isn't going to help me do double unders... i have suffered numerous whips from the rope, but by having the right support and being shown the right technique and breaking it down into smaller sections and consistently building on it each time. I started with no double unders for ages then one double under, then two double unders and stayed here for a while then finally i got to double figures and got 14 in a row. To me this is a huge achievement and has proven to me that perseverance and consistency has helped me reach this goal.
So my message to everyone is it's not a race, the only competition you have is either the clock or yourself and do your best and be CONSISTENT! You can achieve anything! 💪
