Learn EM LearnEM provides access to high quality, enjoyable training relevant to clinical practice. We hope you find the courses a great way to learn Emergency Medicine.

LearnEM Partnership is a dedicated training facility with a goal of providing access to high quality, enjoyable training relevant to clinical practice for the range of health professionals and students working in acute areas. With over 30 online courses available and 10 hands on practical workshops, LearnEM is focused on providing training to health professionals in all regions of Australia. LearnEM is the work of a team of Emergency Physicians, Rural Practitioners, Emergency Nurses, Paramedics and other Health Professionals. All learning resources are peer reviewed and CPD accredited for medical and nursing clinical practice. Our courses include interactive workshops, free online courses and CPD accredited paid online courses. Workshops:

Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) is becoming an increasingly valuable bedside tool, helping clinicians gather focused, real-time information to support their clinical assessment.

Our new POCUS for Midwifery workshop has been designed specifically for midwives, offering practical, hands-on experience with ultrasound in a supportive learning environment.

Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to scan, optimise images, identify relevant anatomy and develop a systematic approach that you can continue building on in clinical practice.
