💪 ST MARK’S IS TAKING ON THE PUSH-UP CHALLENGE! 🏋️‍♀️

From Wednesday, our St Mark’s team will attempt a very casual, totally reasonable, definitely-not-painful-at-all… 3,307 push-ups in 24 days 😅

We already have 30+ students and staff signed up, with more brave souls joining daily. We are pretty sure that at some point during the challenge, there will be more people doing push-ups around campus than actually sitting down. Especially when our PCG join the push-up fun too 👀💥
Because nothing says “community spirit” quite like collectively struggling to lift your arms above shoulder height.

The Push-Up Challenge raises funds and awareness for mental health in Australia — encouraging Australians to improve their physical and mental fitness, have fun, and make a real difference. 🧠💙

So we’d love your support:
👉 Donate to the St Mark’s team
👉 Cheer us on through the soreness
👉 Help support mental health initiatives across Australia

Every dollar helps — and every donation gives our team extra motivation to keep pushing through all 3,307 reps!

Please donate generously… some of our staff have been practicing and are already walking like they’ve aged 40 years overnight.

🚨 The Push-Up Challenge starts Wednesday! 🚨

Over the next 24 days, Team St Mark's will attempt a whopping 3,307 push-ups. That's 3,307 reasons to avoid stairs, make strange noises when sitting down, and discover muscles we forgot existed. 💪😅

We're taking on the challenge to raise funds and awareness for mental health in Australia, and we'd love our St Mark's community to get involved.

👉 Donate to support the team
👉 Join Team St Mark's
👉 Create your own family, friendship or workplace sub-team (bonus points for creative team names!)

You can do push-ups, or swap them for squats, lunges or sit-ups. Every effort counts.

Last year we survived all 3,214 push-ups, so we're back for more punishment... sorry, fun. 😆

Let's push up, show up, and make a difference for mental health. 🦁

HIGH-FLYING FUN!

Recently, our Year 5 finalists represented St Mark’s at the IPSHA Paper Plane Competition with creativity, precision and plenty of enthusiasm ... and the results were plane awesome 🛩️

Two of our soaring students took out first and second in the Distance Category with 26.4m, the winning length (which is also a St Mark’s record!)

A huge shoutout to our Junior School Paper Plane Club pilots who have spent weeks perfecting their designs, and to Mr Martin for being the ultimate control tower throughout the competition 👏

STRENGTHENING INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIONS

Our St Mark’s team has been busy in Tokyo, continuing to grow our valued partnership with Salesian International School alongside AngliSchools International.

From meeting with the West Australian Trade Office to presenting to more than 150 prospective students and families, this trip has been all about building relationships, creating opportunities and supporting the future of our Study Abroad program.

We’ve loved reconnecting with past international students, collaborating with teachers and sharing the incredible opportunities available at St Mark’s Anglican Community School.

A huge thank you to AngliSchools International for their ongoing support and genuine partnership as we continue creating meaningful global connections for our students 🌏
