🏃‍♀️ Razorback Zone Athletics Carnival 🏃‍♂️

Yesterday, students from Hill Top Public School proudly represented our school at the Razorback Zone Athletics Carnival.

Every student gave their events their very best effort and demonstrated wonderful patience and sportsmanship while waiting to compete. The sun was shining, and we could not be prouder of the way our students embraced this opportunity and truly ran with it! 💙

A special thank you to our team manager, Mrs Thiess, and to Mr McCormack, who assisted with the shot put event on the field throughout the day.

We also sincerely thank the parents and carers who transported and supported our students. Your assistance helped make this wonderful opportunity possible.

Congratulations to all our Hill Topper athletes - you represented our school with pride! 🌟

💙 School Administration and Support Staff Recognition Week 💙

There are simply no words that could ever fully express the gratitude we have for our extraordinary School Administration and Support Staff at Hill Top Public School, but this week, we want to try.

Mrs Winder, Mrs Purdon, Mrs Canning, Mrs Eggins, Mrs Schmidt, Mrs Hunter, Mrs Gorman and Mrs Little each bring something incredibly special to our school. Their kindness, patience, compassion and unwavering commitment are felt in every corner of Hill Top.

They are the reassuring voices at the end of the phone, the helping hands when someone needs support and the familiar faces who make our students feel safe, known and valued. They work tirelessly alongside our teaching staff, often quietly and behind the scenes, to ensure our school runs smoothly and every child has the opportunity to learn, belong and thrive.

They celebrate our students’ successes, provide comfort during difficult moments and step forward without hesitation whenever help is needed. The trust and relationships they build with our children, families and staff make an immeasurable difference every single day.

Our school would simply not be the same without this remarkable team. We see the care you give, we value the work you do, and we are deeply grateful for the heart you bring to Hill Top.

🍟 Hot Chip Heroes – Yellow Class! 🍟

Despite several weeks of illness across the school, Yellow Class maintained an attendance rate above 90% for the past three weeks. They also achieved the highest attendance rate of all classes across the entire term!

A huge congratulations to our Hot Chip Heroes—you should be incredibly proud of this achievement!

🥔✨ Meet our Potato People! ✨🥔

After reading Potato People by Pamela Allen, our Kindergarten students got creative and brought their own little potato characters to life! 💛

With lots of imagination, creativity and a few googly eyes, our potatoes became very special Potato People. 👀🥔🎨

As the story reminds us, sometimes the simplest things can spark the biggest imaginations! 🌟

We loved seeing each child’s unique personality shine through their creation. 💕

🥣 Breakfast Club at Hill Top 🥣

We are very fortunate to offer Breakfast Club to our students throughout the week, subject to the availability of our wonderful parent volunteers.

We are incredibly grateful for the time and care our volunteers give to support our students, as well as our valued partnership with Foodbank NSW & ACT which helps us provide nutritious breakfast options.

Our students truly value Breakfast Club, not only for the food, but also for the warm and welcoming start it provides to their day.

On Tuesday, Evie joined her mum, one of our regular volunteers, and surprised our Hill Toppers with a warm and delicious hot chocolate!
