This Saturday 22 August from 5–6pm, we invite you to join choral groups from Concordia—along with three other South Australian Lutheran schools—for the inaugural Lutheran Schools Choral Festival, to be held in the Concordia College Chapel. The event will feature the premiere of a newly commissioned work by local artist Kathie Renner, commissioned with the generous support of the LLL. Click the link below to book your tickets. Last Friday evening, we welcomed the Class of 1986 to their 40 Year reunion. There were smiles on every face as guests enjoyed a fabulous dinner and shared stories, memories and laughs. It was amazing to hear where life has taken this cohort since finishing at Concordia. Thank you all for coming—we look forward to seeing you again next time!

Flashback Friday | Flashback 100 years to 1926 when the original gymnasium was officially opened with a speech from the Chairman of the College Board (the Rev. C Wiebusch), vocal and instrumental items, and a gymnastics display by students.

Since 2001, the transformed original Concordia Gymnasium has been used as the College Drama Centre—a creative performance and production space for students from Years 7–12.

Congratulations to Reuben Goodall, Class of 2021, who has secured a co-drive in the Bathurst 1000 and will therefore be competing at the highest level of Australian motorsport—a remarkable accomplishment! His persistence, dedication and commitment to his goals are a great credit to him, and an inspiring example for our current students.

On Saturday 23 May, two Old Concordians' Racing Pedal Prix teams had great weather all day and no major crashes while participating in a 6-hour event from 9:30am to 3:30pm at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park at the Bend. The OCA teams had a smooth and successful race day—congratulations to all of the riders!

Flashback Friday | Flashback 70 Years to the 1956 First XVIII football team, who trained on Tuesday and Thursday after school on the College oval and played on Saturday in the United Church Association. The team was selected after the Thursday training, and names were displayed on the notice board.
