One of the greatest things about horses is that the learning never stops.

Stepping outside your comfort zone is one of the best ways to grow as a horseperson, and that's exactly what Alex did during her time in Mexico—competing in both Dressage and Working Equitation.

The results:
• 2nd and 3rd place in Level 3 Dressage aboard the Lusitano stallion Florentino.
• 3rd place in Level 4 Profesionales Working Equitation with Chocoroll.
• 1st place in Level 5 Consagrados Working Equitation with Sensei from Lusitanos Madroño—the first time horse and rider had competed together at that level.

Every horse, every discipline and every competition offers an opportunity to learn. Whether it's dressage, working equitation or campdrafting, the goal is always the same: to become a better horseman through continual learning, open-mindedness and a commitment to improving the partnership between horse and rider.

Alex is officially back in Australia and excited to bring those experiences, new ideas and fresh perspective back to Hindle Horsemanship. The pursuit of better horsemanship never ends—and that's what makes it so rewarding. 🐴

Our August Newsletter is here! 🐴✨

There’s been plenty happening at Hindle Horsemanship this month! From welcoming Alex back from Mexico and hearing all about her adventures, to celebrating our riders, welcoming new faces to the Hindle community, and keeping busy with lessons, events, and life around the property, it’s been another exciting month for our team and horses.

We’re incredibly grateful to our amazing riders, families, volunteers, agistees, and supporters who continue to make Hindle Horsemanship such a wonderful community. Your support, enthusiasm, and love for the horses are what make everything we do so special.

Hindle Horsemanship is looking for a reliable and committed person to join our team and help with feeding our horses on weekends.

📅 Hours:
• Saturday morning & afternoon
• Sunday morning & afternoon

About the role:
✔️ Paid position
✔️ Training provided on Friday, with the successful applicant starting this weekend
✔️ Ongoing weekend work for the right person

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has some horse knowledge and is confident handling horses
• Is reliable, punctual, and available on a regular basis
• Takes pride in caring for horses and maintaining a high standard of animal welfare
• Can work independently and follow instructions

If you love horses and are looking to become part of a friendly, professional equestrian team, we’d love to hear from you!
