Moorabbin Saints Toastmasters

As we begin a new financial year with a new committee, I want to acknowledge what makes Moorabbin Saints Toastmasters special: our people.

Thank you, Maria, the president, for organising the recent catch up. It was warm, cosy, and a lovely reminder that a great club starts with people who care.

One of our strengths is that we evaluate with grace. We evaluate to build each other up, to recognise what is working, and to help every speaker grow in confidence.

I also want to recognise our young volunteers. When someone who is only 14, turning 15, is eager to volunteer and contribute to the success of the club, it says a lot about the welcoming environment we are creating.

At Moorabbin Saints Toastmasters, people show up at meeting Times: 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month 7:30 P.M.to explore their message, find their voice, and practise speaking more effectively. Over time, they become more confident communicators at home, at work, with friends, and in the community.

The club attracts people who want to grow and support others. As we begin this new year, the volunteer committee commits to serve a club where people feel safe to speak, encouraged to improve, and proud to contribute.

It was another amazing night at Moorabbin Saints!

It was so warm, welcoming, and fun! that’s the kind of atmosphere I would never want to miss out.

Somehow each member managed to add to creating such a comforting space together. I haven’t been able to do much more for our meetings and for the club, because of many existing commitments, but hey, I’m always there if not in person, then in spirit.

I love our club ❤️
